Nassau projects are hybrid: upper floors are fund/trust back office, ground floor is resort lobby with suitcases, sand, and pool water. A single product rarely survives both.
Recommended stack:
- Resort entry & lobby → glue-down LVT 0.7 mm, stone/terrazzo visual, R10 slip, never click-float (housekeeping carts telegraph through floating locks).
- Transition zone 3 m inside → tank-track water-absorbent mat.
- Back-office workstation floors → 50×50 carpet tile, level loop, SD nylon, PVC back. Call-center-grade acoustics help trust operators on headsets.
- Staff canteen / locker corridor → SPC 5–6.5 mm, 0.5 mm wear, IXPE optional.
UV is the silent killer: Bahama windows are unshaded. Any LVT/SPC within 2 m of curtain wall needs ASTM G154 1000 h color-change ≤4 Delta E on the RFQ. TeFloor supplies UV-stabilized commercial lines — generic residential SPC will chalk in 14 months.
